About Usability Resources – Creating exciting new products is your business. Helping you understand your target end user is mine. I’m Kay Corry Aubrey, and I help development teams launch new products and services that are easy to use.
With over 25 years of experience in qualitative research, usability, and interface design I can help you deliver a product that people enjoy and that works in the real world. My recent clients include Abt Associates, AT&T, Nuance Communications, Columbia University, Concord Consortium, Commonwealth of MA, The Broad Institute, Pillo Healthcare and the Mayo Clinic. In addition to consulting I also train others in UX Research and Usability Testing. I train teams through my company, the RIVA Training Institute, and Northeastern University’s Bouve College of Healthcare.
User Experience/UX Research for Innovative Products and Services
I most enjoy helping my clients understand users in niche and newly developed markets. I work with smart home products, web and mobile applications as well as with physical products. For example, older adults are our fastest-growing demographic, they are typically the most under- serviced when it comes to technology and user experience. I can help you launch a product that resonates with this and other target markets, delighting them with ease-of- use and the shortest possible learning curve.

A Little About Me
I started in User Experience back in 1991 working as a user interface designer. Ten years later, I launched Usability Resources, Inc. Around 2006, I realized I enjoyed UX research more than design and focused my business in that direction. Since then I have worked with a wide range of end users and provided companies with valuable insights into the way their customers see and experience their products.
